Welcome to St George’s Episcopal Memorial Church. Our parish has been an important presence in the Bismarck community since 1880, and we continue to meet the Living God in this place today – through worship, education, outreach, and most of all, through the relationships we have created with each other.

Greetings,

It is with a sad and heavy heart that I write this letter. As you are all aware, Fr. Hal and Michelle are moving to Georgia, and their last day at St. George’s is February 5. As we travel together in this transition of searching for a new Rector, I want everyone to know that we have strong diocesan support. Steve Godfrey, our Diocesan Minister, will meet with the Vestry next week to help formulate a plan to move forward. In addition, Bishop Tom will be a contributing member in our transition.

Let us continue our journey with faith and help to raise everyone up. The journey will not be easy, but St. Georgians are resilient, and we will persevere.
