St. George’s Episcopal Church Mission Statement
We are called by God:
–to make Christ the center of our lives
–to support one another in our journey with Christ
–to serve the world in Christ’s Name
Dear Members and Friends,
A heartfelt thank you to all those who so graciously gave to the church, giving of your time, talents, and financial means over the last year. Over this last year, we have provided in-person worship and through live streaming. In addition, we have held several in-person fellowship gatherings, most notably with the Bishop and had an outstanding Sunday morning service in September at the Sertoma Park; enjoying fun and fellowship afterward with a catered meal from Dickey’s. Sunday, October 17 at noon, we will host the annual pet blessing to include St. Georgians and the wider Bismarck/Mandan area and surrounding communities. These are just a few examples of the many ministries St. Georgians are involved in.
As we journey through fall, and head into winter, let’s prayerfully consider what we can give in contributions to the church for this next year – in time, talents, and financially. Giving is not a substitute for commitment- it is an expression of your commitment and an expression of thanks for the many blessings in our lives.
In His Service,
Joanne Lassiter
Senior Warden and Chair of the Stewardship Committee
