Canon Hal has tested positive for COVID-19, and is under home quarantine. The quarantine could be lifted as early as the middle of next week, but could continue, depending on whether he develops severe symptoms. At this time, his symptoms are classified as mild or moderate.
Also under home quarantine, but with no symptoms, are our two Deacons, Beth and Ed. Adding to this, our live-streaming video crew is under home quarantine, also with no symptoms.
Because we effectively have no clergy available, the live-streaming worship services for the next two Wednesdays have been cancelled. The service this Sunday, May 17th, has been cancelled, but as an alternative, you may watch the Sunday service live-streamed from the Washington National Cathedral. For your convenience, the National Cathedral’s Sunday service will be live streamed right on our own St. George’s homepage! Join us at 10:15 am CST.
You may also view the National Cathedral’s Sunday service on their website. Go to cathedral.org and scroll down to Sunday Online Eucharist, May 17th. This service will begin at 10:15 am CST. Daily morning services are also available on this website. You can also find the Cathedral’s Sunday Eucharist on Facebook.
Thank you for your understanding and patience as we deal with these issues. Please pray for our clergy, especially for Canon Hal, and for all those suffering in any way during these difficult times. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact any member of the Vestry.

Senior Warden
