RECOVERY EUCHARIST – GUEST SPEAKER
Megan Frankl-Mann will be the speaker at our Annual Recovery Eucharist on Wednesday, October 26, 2022 at 6:00 pm. All are welcome to join us!
Megan is the Administrator of Hope Manor, a non-profit corporation located in Bismarck. It aids men and women who need a structured residential living environment in their recovery from substance abuse.
She received her Master’s Degree in Clinical Psychology from North Dakota State University. She has additional post graduate training in the area of psychological assessment, with an emphasis in Clinical Neuropsychology, Neuropsychological Assessment and Assessment of Personality. She is trained in administration, scoring and interpretation of psychological measures. She has intensive post graduate training in clinical assessment and evaluation of psychological disorders. Special areas of interest include assessment of intelligence, personality, and objective measures. Megan’s main model of psychotherapeutic approach has been cognitive behavioral and humanistic. However, she has training in dialectical behavioral, acceptance and commitment, rational-emotive, logotherapy, client centered and psychodynamic and she utilizes an eclectic approach tailored to each individual. Megan has extensive research experience, and her work has been published in major academic journals. She has given lectures and presented research at various conferences across the United States. She has taught at the undergraduate courses and has given numerous graduate level lectures. She is an Affiliate member of the American Psychological Association in Division 12, Clinical Psychology and Division 40, Clinical Neuropsychology. She holds certifications in disaster mental health, trauma assessment, EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing Therapy) and family counseling.
Over the past 8 years, Megan has been particularly interested in how the implementation of ancient spiritual principles influence one’s core beliefs, thought patterns, perceptions and behavior. She brings a unique mix of psychological training with spiritual discipline and how the two interact and influence each other.
