Welcome to St George’s Episcopal Memorial Church! Our parish has been an important presence in the Bismarck community since 1880, and we continue to meet the Living God in this place today – through worship, education, outreach, and most of all, through the relationships we have created with each other.

Book Discussion Group Next’s Read

The next book for St. George’s book discussion is “Our Story of Eagle Woman, Sacagawea – They Got It Wrong“, by The Sacagawea Project Board of The Mandan, Hidatsa & Arikara Nation .  We will meet on Monday, July 22nd at 4 pm at St. George’s.

Reviews of interviews of her family members and others, reviews of government and tribal documents, reviews of other claims regarding her heritage and of evidence provided by others that supports the Hidatsa story, together with DNA testing, have resulted in the need to revisit this event in history. The book can be purchased at: https://www.specialbooks.com/namericans.htm.

Please let Deacon Beth Lipp know if you are reading and will be participating please. All are welcome!
